Enjoy every momentum of it

In April 2010 a new era has begun. The era of the prototype that actually moves as we have described it in the thechnical papers almost two years ago and as you find it in the description of the swisscleandrive on this website.

It felt rather incredible when we drove out to the test area for the first time, then went into electric mode and it just developed enough torque

to go to 50 km/h in 10 seconds. The best thing is, it keeps going after 50 and it goes to 100 km/h and further up electrically with ease. I took the foot off the pedal at 110 in pure electric mode. Just like a fully grown electric car for your everyday commuting, shopping, bringingthekidstothesports kind of thing.

But the swisscleandrive is not only electric OR petrol, it also plays the parallel hybrid game when you put the switch to the right position.

This means that you add the power of both motors and you "enjoy every momentum of it". This turns the nicely humming electromobile or the gently purring small gasoline car into a rather wild little racing machine that hits 100 km/h in less than 9 seconds.
